Running a business = hard work Running a business whilst being a parent = hard work with extra headaches thrown in! Running a business whilst being a parent when it's the summer holidays = hard work with extra headaches thrown in PLUS the task of remembering the childcare schedule, juggling social events and trying to keep a work/life balance (whilst fitting in basic self survival needs like drinking, eating and peeing!) Not being a parent myself some of you may be wondering where I am going with this. So let me explain. Being a firm believer of a healthy work/life balance and reminiscing about the fun times I had during my summer holidays (thanks Mum & Dad!), I want to offer parents running businesses a helping hand over the school holidays. I'm not suggesting business owners hand the keys of their business to someone else for 6 weeks, but they utilise other people to wear one of their many hats over the summer holidays to help with the juggling act and to reduce the need of childcare!
